I'm Walking on Sunshine

On Thursday it was a beautiful day in Ocean City. The boy and I took a walk around the whole city and ended up taking some pics at the Inlet.

The inlet was beautiful and so blue!

Here is an aerial view of the inlet and Ocean City.

When the sun started to set I came back to the hotel to put on my grandma sweater again. I also had to change my shoes, the sandals were killing me!

Oh and one more thing, we went to an outlet mall to look around and I found these shoes that I've been dying to have! They were much cheaper at Marshall's!

A Day and Night in Ocean City

So I'm on vacation with the boyfriend. Today was our first day here, and already I'm having a great time. Today was sunny and beautiful and we spent the day on the beach. I dressed pretty relaxed. I wanted to be easy and breezy!
Photobucket
The one downside about wearing a v-neck was the V of sunburn I got on my chest. haha
Photobucket
You can't really tell but I got my hair trimmed. It feels so much better! It was getting ratty.

I had to change into a warmer outfit when the sun went down.

My poor grandma sweater is on it's last leg. I'm going to miss it when it's unwearable :(

Have a lovely night and more from Ocean City soon!

Black Cherries.

Photobucket
It's crazy how just simple stitching on shoulders can change a plain shirt into something unique. I always loved this shirt, it has an American Apparel purple like color (which the camera didn't pick up very well.) I also loved the puffed sleeves, not too 80's tastic. A perfect compromise, my boyfriend hates it! Well anyway, it was originally 13 bucks and I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a simple shirt. But the other day I found it for 5 dollars on clearance, awesome.

I was also playing around with purple lipstick. I really like the look of it, it's something different.

Here Comes the Sun

I fixed the settings on my camera so now my photos look much better!
Photobucket
I am so in love with this skirt and I don't wear it enough! This is because I could never find the right shirt to wear with it. When I was trying on random shirts hoping one would look good, I tried this one on thinking it would be horrible, I ended up loving it! It just shows you never know what is going to fit together.

I actually took the time to accessorize. Here are some quick shots of my jewelry.

Snake

These photos are from Thursday when it was incredibly rainy and dreary.
Photobucket
These were taken by my mom at her house :)
Also if you notice my star necklace, it's actually pretty special. It's made out of recycled two-liter soda bottles by woman in Africa. It's so smooth it almost feels like glass.
Photobucket
I thought this look would be too plain without something. I experimented with this old scarf, thought it created a funky look.
Photobucket
The blue on my leggings and shoes is a lot brighter in person.

Boy Meets Girl

I have always been obsessed with my boyfriend's flannel shirt. So yesterday I got an idea in my head that I should try it on, then wear it out.
Photobucket
I ended up liking how easy it was to wear.

I love this bronze bag, it was a gift from my boyfriend's mom. So sweet!

I'm not a fan of cheaply made heels from Charlotte Russe and whatnot. They don't support body weight correctly and always seem to fall apart. Since they aren't made right they always make your feet hurt more! I find it much better to buy heels that are made better (but not too expensive.) Aldo is the best!
BUT when I worked at Charlotte Russe I came across these cool double strap shoes for 4 dollars. They're fun shoes.

Wow...big rant.

Playdate

On Saturday temperatures reached a blistering 86 degrees. Since it's April and my blood is still thick the heat was unbearable. I decided to put on my favorite thing to wear when it's unbearably hot, a vintage bathing suit from the 50's.
Photobucket
It's perfect for just hanging out on a hot day. It's made of a light cotton so it keeps me cool, and has matching bloomers which makes anything more fun.

These sandals were my best friends last summer. They are the only flat sandals I own so they got a lot of use, I'm predicting the same thing will happen this summer! I'm not quite sure why there are zippers on the back though...

I didn't get a shot of the matching bloomers that are underneath the skirt...oh well.

Snow White

My camera has been on the fritz lately and it's making me upset. I'm really starting to hate it. These photos ended up being blown out and they make me look super pale!
Photobucket
I wore my new 7.99 dress out to an early Easter dinner with my family. Even though black isn't a very springy color the dress was still very fun and breezy. It was perfect for this abnormal hot day.

These shoes are actually very comfortable, I need to wear them more often.

I'm not happy with the way the pictures came out, I'll have to fix my camera.
