2013 was probably the most eventful year of my life.
I got to open my store on Park Ave which was an absolute dream come true. I got to meet so many people that I'm thankful for knowing. People who help me, support me, and root for me. Your support means so much to me and I could never thank all of you enough.
I was featured in Rochester Woman Magazine, which was crazy! My business is getting off the ground and I couldn't be more thankful.
I started my YouTube channel this year, went on trips, and laughed with friends. Things I will cherish for many years to come.
Once again, thank you everyone. Without all of your support I wouldn't be here.
I greet 2014 with open arms and can't wait to see what it holds.

THANK YOU ESPECIALLY TO MY MOM, DAD, AND BRIAN. You do so much more for me than you ever should. I love you.

1950's dress, years old socks, and BCBGeneration pumps.

I know it's 5 days late, but I love you all so much and wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas (if you don't celebrate I hope you had a wonderful year).
As you can tell by the Santa socks, I get as excited for the holidays as those grandmas who wear ugly Christmas sweaters unironically.
So I channeled all that excitement into an outfit that made me look like a Christmas package.
And nothing screams Christmas package to me more than this 50's dress from my personal vintage collection. I had been waiting to wear it, because it's just too special. The bouffant skirt just makes my heart melt and has always reminded me of the ugly stepsisters from Cinderella.
I've also owned it for over a year and just found the label. It's located in the bottom of the zipper. I had accepted that I would probably never know where it came from.
I Googled the name (which I can't remember off the top of my head) and another dress almost identical to this one came up (it was hot pink)! That made me extremely gleeful. The label was a specialized boutique in NYC that made lots of eccentric garb. Gotta love it.

I know I haven't updated a lot in the past 6 months and that's honestly made me depressed. I love blogging and I love blogging for myself even if no one reads this. It's a great creative outlet and forces me outside the box a lot style-wise. I've just been in a rut with how busy I am with my new shop (which is amazing and I wouldn't trade anything for that), but I just want to get back into the swing of things. So, New Year's resolution is to get back on the blogging train.
Cheers to 2014 and all the places it may lead you.

I am horrible at updating - here's a video

Ever since I opened my store at the new location I've had noticeably less frequent updates. Also, now that the temperature has reached the freeze zone my style gets a little boring. Cold weather and I do not get along and I find myself in jeans and sweaters more than I should be.
To compensate for lack of posts, here is my most recent OOTD video which I filmed before it got cold.
