Vintage 1950's dress, vintage bow, and BCBGeneration pumps.
Okay, I seriously don't know what is wrong with me. This post has been sitting in my queue since 10/22! What the hell? I can't even. So here you go, my post from a month ago:
On what most likely will be the last 80 degree day we have here in Rochester, I knew I had to wear something I forgot to wear over the summer. That just happened to be this beautiful dress from the 50's. The last time I wore it was way back HERE. Unfortunately, due to my massive (and unhealthy) collection of clothes, I just remembered to alter it. Finally, it's perfect and then I forget to wear it. Typical me. I'm happy it got to go for a spin. It's quite a gem. I can't think of another dress in my vintage arsenal that truly makes me feel like I stepped back in time. To the reign of Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe. Speaking of Jane Russell, I found a picture of her wearing a dress very similar to this one. Needless to say, I freaked out just a little bit knowing I had one like it.
I can't really say much more than that. I think the dress speaks for itself.
I hope your week is going well! I'm excited for Thanksgiving!
