Sunsets

The other day my mom and I went garage sailing. We ended up spending the evening at her house so she decided to by my guest photographer. That's what she does for a living! You should check out her blog http://delapaphoto.blogspot.com/

Sitting Pretty

Hello everyone! I managed to get over my cold quickly thanks to copious amounts of Airborne. So, I got to go out today and take photos. Please excuse my face in most of these, I'm still out of it.

This is my favorite dress out of all the beautiful ones I own. I picked it up last summer for $20 full price. As soon as I saw it, I fell in love. I love how the style is so vintage, yet by taking the length to mid-thigh makes it throughly modern.

I know I said my shop would be up and running soon, well...it's still in the works! I am in the process of weeding out my closet now. Seriously...look for it soon.

Until next time (which should be soon)

Summer Wishes

Since I'm sick right now, I don't have an outfit post. I decided to make a wish-list instead of leaving my blog unattended. What surprised me was that it was hard for me to find things I was craving. Right now I am pretty content with my current wardrobe. I went shopping twice this week, and nothing really compelled me. It really is a good thing, I have been striving for this moment for a long time.
Here's a short list of things that I'd love to get my hands on:
While at Forever 21 the other day with my friends, this was the only thing that really caught my eye. I was tempted to try it on, but it was out of the price range I set for myself. Like I said in an earlier post, I am a sucker for anything polka-dotted. The big bow also gets me too, it's so girly.
Not to mention this is the only shade of gray that looks good on me.
For more details check it out at Forever 21's website here.
I love Aldo. I try to buy as many shoes at the lowest prices I can there. I have been eyeing these wedges for awhile, and they haven't come down in price. I'm crossing my fingers they will. I love the studding and wood wedge. I need a good black wedge to complete my shoe collection.
Check out these Aldo Mignogna's here.

Lastly:

I am DYING to have this dress. For some reason I missed out on knowing about Jean-Paul Gaultier's line for Target. So, I missed out on this gorgeous dress. The only place I can find it is on ebay. I am torn between the pretty mustard color, or the flowery eyelet. Either way this dress would look lovely hanging in my closet!

So there you have it, my short wish-list. I'm off to nurse my sick body, I hope to feel better soon. I'm dying to put up and outfit post!

Tigress

Today was the perfect day to wear a flirty dress. After looking through my dress collection, I decided to take one of my Zac Posen for Target dresses for a spin.

I didn't think much of this dress when I saw it on the hanger, but when I tried it on I was surprised. It's very flattering, and the fabric moves so well.

I picked up these once expensive shoes awhile back for $1o. I love the bow on them!

My best friend knows I love rings so, she had this ring made for me for my last birthday. It's a little cupcake with a bite taken out of it on a plate. It's so unique and special to me.

Zac Posen for Target dress, Sears pumps, and handmade jewelry.

I'm working on sorting through my closet, I have a bunch of things that don't fit/never fit right/I just don't want anymore. I'll be setting up a shop soon, check for it!

Grassy Sunday

Today I had some relaxing free time. Since the weather was beautiful, I decided to stay home. After a busy week (that included a trip to Buffalo's Galleria mall) I decided to explore the grounds of my apartment complex in my new 7.99 romper. This is why I am missing my shoes, it was a barefoot kind of summery day.

This necklace is super-special. I have been meaning to post about it for awhile. It was my Grandmother's from back in the 40's. Like a lot of pieces from the early 20th century, it was made with rose gold, which is more of a rarity nowadays.

I have been thinking a lot about clearing up my closet. I'm thinking about starting an online shop. Tell me readers (If you're out there) would you be interested in a Shop Treasure Trove?
Let me know.

Morgan

Summertime and the Living is Easy.

I am kicking myself for the lack of updates this week and last. Last week I was super busy with family, and this week a heat wave came through and its been too hot to do anything. There isn't a lot for me to post about but some photos from my everyday life.
On Tuesday the boy and I went to Charlotte beach, but it was so hot we had to leave. Here a few snapshots I managed to take:
Photobucket
I wanted to keep my outfit super simple because of the heat. (My boy's car doesn't have air conditioning) Nuff said.Photobucket
We had lunch at the Harbor View Cafe, I love slushies. haha.
Photobucket
Mom's old Bahamas tee, Forever 21 seersucker shorts, gladiator sandals from Marshall's, and a gifted 10 year old beach bag.

Here's my niece and I lounging by the pool at my apartment last week.

Making funny faces.

Last week before the heat wave hit the temperatures dropped into the low 60's. This gave me a chance to break out one of my favorite jackets in my closet!
Photobucket
I won a prize for selling a lot of Mary Kay products in May!

Exciting news! Yesterday I took a trip with my mom to have lunch with our friend. We decided to stop in their Target. Well...they had a TON of Zac Posen for Target merchandise at 75% off. I snagged almost everything I wanted from his line at a very small price. SO EXCITING!

When this heat wave passes, I will update normally again. For now I'll be living in my bathing suit.

Morgan.
