Before the Snow

So, the reason for my lack of posting is...there have been terrible blizzards here! It's been so cold and bitter and everything became covered with snow.

I can't even go on my balcony anymore because there is so much snow!

My Super Unrealistic Christmas List

So I've heard of Polyvore, but today I actually decided to use it for the first time. I was so excited I created the Christmas list of my dreams. Things I'd love to have but at the moment aren't realistic.

Lanvin for H&M shoes (any I'd love!), vintage Chanel dress, Lanvin for H&M red dress, Forever 21 polka dot dress, Lanvin for H&M one-shoulder dress, Christian Louboutin pumps, Chanel Caviar bag, Forever 21 lace dress, and yet another Lanvin for H&M dress.

I'm loving the Lanvin for H&M collection, unfortunately the two H&M's where I live aren't carrying it.

Not like I can afford it anyway!

Well, I'm off to bed. I've been preoccupied with school but I have a outfit post coming soon!

Red, Red, Wine

With the dwindling daylight and a photographer who works until 8, I've only been able to take pictures on the weekend. Plus the weekend is my chance to dress up and wear fancy things!

I'm actually wearing a burgundy velvet dress that I bought for $2.50 at Goodwill. It's a little big in the bust so I paired it with this motorcycle jacket.

Some of you (if you still read this) may recall me writing about these beauties on a wishlist post back in May. I finally scored them two weeks ago for 60% off and I can't stop wearing them!

It's Been Too Long

I know it has been forever since I posted, time has just slipped through my fingers. But even though the weather is getting colder I promise to update more. I have more inspiration that ever before this semester.

So I'm sorry I've missed the past month and some odd days, but lets get re-aquatinted.

Since I'm totally broke I've been trying to spend no money on new things. I've had a few great treasure hunts at Goodwill, and this amazing sweater was one of my great finds.

It's a sweater from The Limited that someone had donated, although I couldn't figure out why. It's in perfect condition and I'll be living in it all winter.

These leather ankle boots I found on one of the last Salvation Army trips of the summer. I thought they were snazzy, and real leather boots for $1.50? I can't say no.

Lastly,

I dressed up as a sailor girl this Halloween. I'm obsessed with nautical/sailor paraphernalia so when I spotted this costume hiding in Party City back in August, I almost died because...it was 5 dollars!

Mellow Yellow

So I took these photos on Tuesday and I haven't posted them until now. Sorry about that. Life just seems crazy right now, and I can't wait for the semester to be over.

I wore this very special vintage 1960's cocktail dress out for dinner. I found it at Salvation Army for 5 dollars. There were a few stains, but with a little help from my mom I got them out!

Paradise City

Well I feel so lazy for not updating. Life has been so crazy. My craziest day was yesterday, between a fender bender and my cat peeing on my bed I almost went crazy! I still managed to take some photos though.

 

The weather lately has been warm with a chilly breeze and storms being a constant threat. I try to wear light pieces that won't make me overheat, with a warmer accent so I won't be too cold. For example my favorite pashmina scarf.

I love this shirt/dress. I couldn't make myself spend 17 dollars on it, so when I found a Medium on clearance for 5 dollars I got it. It's a little big but that doesn't stop me!

So the exciting news I've been talking about for over a month is finally ready to be announced. 

I am officially a model signed to The Keen Modeling Agency! I am very VERY EXCITED!

I am going to force myself to get into the rhythm of posting again!

Good Things Will End

Summer is coming to a close rapidly. So this post is dedicated to me lamenting the loss of summer. Soon there will be no more summery dresses like this one from a shoot a few months back. I never got around to posting it, so here it is!

I really love the detailing on this dress, it's the main reason it caught my eye. It's actually is a few years old, which surprised me when I thought about it. Time flies!
